When a famous music producer moves to Lake Starlight it can’t just be a coincidence. It’s the universe helping to move things along in the right direction so that Griffin Thorne can discover me. I have to confess—I’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen. Confession #1: I may have overhead that he was in search of a nanny. What can I say? My brother has a big mouth. Confession #3: There’s a good chance I oversold my qualifications. But my Grandma Dori backed me up, so it’s not completely my fault. And it worked. He hired me. Only for me to find out that he left the business. I guess it’s on to Plan B. When he accidentally overhears me singing, I expect nothing from him. Then he asks to work with me on a song for our town’s Founder’s Day Parade and it feels like a dream come true. Until... Confession #4: I’ve fallen for him.

Phoenix and Griffin were so much more than I expected, which I know sounds stupid and I say it nearly every book. But I have these impressions of who each Bailey sibling is from previous books until I read their book and uncover all their depth. I really expected Phoenix to be young and self centered and maybe a little naive and ditzy. And maybe the first chapter she was a little bit but she was so much more. And I loved that she fell so hard for maverick but wasn't trying to fill the role of pa Phoenix and Griffin were so much more than I expected, which I know sounds stupid and I say it nearly every book. And I loved that she fell so hard for maverick but wasn't trying to fill the role of parent. For me it just made their relationship special and feel really genuine. Griffin started off a little shallow with his reasoning for leaving LA but then as he opened up to Phoenix I understood him better. And I really loved his commitment to his son. Which he also had towards Phoenix even if he did go about showing it a little backwards. This series is just continuing to get better and I love watching the family grow and learning more about each of the siblings as individuals. And the more I get the more I can't wait to see who's next and who's pregnant.

The good part though, is now I can go back and read all the previous books, so that’s a plus. Phoenix is the youngest Bailey. Her dream is to become a singer and she’ll stop at nothing to finally get her big break. But she’s also insecure and wonders maybe she’s not a good singer as she thinks she is since nothing came to be when she lived in L.A. for two years. She’s fierce, passionate and has a huge heart. She has grit and so much determination to make her dream happen. I adored Phoenix so much, she was such an enjoyable character. Griffin has left the life he had in L.A. and moved to Lake Starlight with his son, Maverick to start a new life. He’s looking for a nanny for his son and when he hires Phoenix he has no idea what he’s getting himself into. Little does he know she’s going to flip his world. Griffin and Phoenix have an immediate connection. It’s a sweet slow burn filled with passion. They were exactly what the other needed. And I can’t say how much I loved the connection Phoenix and Maverick made and how she protected him and was there to listen to anything he wanted to confide in her. I adored all three of these characters. Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was a very enjoyable read. It had me laughing, swooning and sighing. It had little drama, but it wasn’t dramatic. I loved these characters and the wholesome feeling of family. I can’t wait to read about the other family members in their previous books and I especially can’t wait for the next book in this series. *I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book*

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was the sixth book in the Baileys series by the authors Piper Rayne. Phoenix Bailey was a twin and one of nine siblings in the small town of Lake Starlight, AK. Griffin Thorne was a successful music producer who moved to Lake Starlight to leave the music industry, find a slower lifestyle and raise his son. First on his list was finding a nanny. Enter Phoenix. Wait? Phoenix as a Nanny? The authors took us through the push and pull from Griffin and Phoenix. They had so many things to work through. True to the authors, we were graced with the entire Bailey clan, which brought loyalty and humor. All in all, it was a fast and well written read. We’ve read six sibling stories and have three left. In the meantime, the novella, Operation Bailey Babies, will provide a fun update and serve as a bridge to Juno’s big story, Secrets of the World’s Worst Matchmaker.

And another Bailey bites the dust. This is a series I will never tire of. Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was just as gripping as the previous books. Phoenix Bailey is the baby of the family. She is a twin, an aspiring singer (who hasn't caught a break yet), beloved fun aunty and roommate to Denver and Cleo. What she is not is a nanny but after she catches wind of Griffin Thorne moving to Lake Starlight and in search of a nanny, a plan is concocted. She will apply to be his sons nanny and somehow make him hear her sing. It's a genius plan to her but to the rest of the Bailey gang, it's a plan sure to fail. Which is why Denver keeps Phoenix away from Griffin but via coincidence, she runs into him and thus, a nanny is hired. But Phoenix ends up taking her job very seriously and loves it. She bonds with Maverick (Griffin's son) and spends a lot of time with Griffin. Sexual tension arises. Feelings are developed. The Bailey's do what the do best... meddle. (Gotta love Grandma Dori and Ethel) Phoenix has seemed almost aloof to me during the previous books. She was the Bailey that couldn't hold down a steady job and floated through life. She was so different once we got to know her. She felt a lot and when she was backed into a corner, she shut down. She had her dreams and she would have done anything to achieve it but she was insecure at times. Griffin helped her. What I missed in this book was Buzz Wheel. The Bailey antics were also less crazy than the other books. I need them to up their game in the next book. That little bomb that Juno dropped has me itching for me.

Once again Piper Rayne impressed me with Confessions of a Naughty Nanny. I didn't really think I was going to like Phoenix as much as I did. When he wanted something he did everything he could to get it. He was perfect for Pheonix! This book was really great and i continue to love this family! I always gets so happy when I don't only read about the couple but about every family member in the Baileys. Also, the teasers we are getting for Juno's book is both amazing and a little frustrating hehe... 5 Star Review Confessions of a Naughty Nanny (The Baileys #6) by Piper Rayne   I fall more in love with this series, the Bailey’s and their circle of friends as I read each new addition. I adore small town romances and often find myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight, Alaska community.     Whenever I pick up a Piper Rayne book about the Bailey’s I know there will be plenty of humour, family and romance. Confessions Of A Naughty Nanny is full of love, family fun shenanigans and ticked all the boxes for me. I love Phoenix and Griffin together, what an absolutely awesome pairing these two made. I also loved the relationship that Phoenix has with his son, Maverick(don’t call me Mav). Phoenix has always been the least successful Bailey(in her view) and having to return home after her singing career stalls, has left her with doubts and insecurities. Learning that Declan’s friend, ex music producer Griffin Thorne, has moved to Lake Starlight to start over, Phoenix is desperate to meet the man who could reignite her singing career, however Declan refuses to introduce her. Phoenix being the resourceful woman she is, manages to meet and get hired as a nanny for Maverick. I loved how feisty, spunky and determined Phoenix is, she is enthusiastic and yet underneath the surface is a woman who is extremely vulnerable. The banter between them had me almost in tears at times, such was the humour. The chemistry between the two is so intense, that you can almost feel the sparks flying. From start to finish, I was captivated by this story. There is so much to love about this story and I hate that we have to wait for so long for Juno’s story. As always Grandma Dori almost steals the book and it was wonderful catching up with the Bailey clan.

Confessions of a Naughty Nanny surprised me. Despite the predictability that rules this series with an iron fist, I loved this couple's story. It felt mature (with an exception of a few scene that just had to add the “family fun” in) and realistic.

5/5 stars Confessions of a Naughty Nanny is Book #6 in the Baileys Series. This book is about the youngest Bailey, Phoenix and Music Producer Griffin Thorne. Phoenix is officially my favorite of the Baileys! She may be the youngest but she is fierce and passionate and has a humongous heart! I adored this story SO much. Piper Rayne really know how to write all that I love in a romance. Humor, heat and heartfelt emotion. It is the perfect combination. She may be the youngest but she is fierce and passionate and has a humongous heart! I adored this story SO much. Piper Rayne really know how to write all that I love in a romance. Humor, heat and heartfelt emotion. It is the perfect combination. Phoenix is back home after spending 2 years in L.A. to try to get her music career going. Once she hears Griffin is living in Lake Starlight she sets her sights on him and is determined to get him to notice her singing and applies for the job as his 8 year old son, Maverick’s nanny. But little does she know he has just left the industry and is settling into Lake Starlight for a new start with his son. I loved Griffin’s son Maverick and the connection Phoenix made with him right from the beginning. He was angry and grumpy at first having to leave his former life in L.A. But once he settles in to Lake Starlight he quickly opens up and I loved that. And the way Phoenix protects him and goes to bat for him at school I just loved too. Griffin is such a selfless man. He makes some big sacrifices for the ones he loves and also has a huge heart. Their was a touch of drama in this story but nothing overly dramatic and of course G’ma Dori was back at it with her meddling ways but the humor she brings to these books and this family is everything! I love Griffin and Pheonix’s connection. It is a super sweet slow burn with the right about of passion and their connection was immediate but not rushed. The epilogue was the sweetest and filled me up with so much happiness and even brought a happy tear to my eye. Juno is next and I absolutely loved that tiny little cliffhanger at the end. CANNOT WAIT! Note: I received an ARC from the author in exchange of a honest review.

The one who always thought she was too big for the smalltown of Lake Starlight and with dreams of being a famous singer, she went to LA straight after graduation. Only to return home not long after as things weren't as great as she imagined. Phoenix still dreams of being a singer but now has to find another one to pursue her dream of being a star. Enter Griffin Thorne, former music producer, and friend of Denver Bailey. Now retired from the music business and being a single father of Maverick, he is on the look for a Nanny. Enter Phoenix, who believes that this is her "in" and bumps into Griffin and one thing leads to another and she becomes a Nanny for Maverick aka Mav. I did love the fact that all the Baileys called him Mav and he kept correcting them. Of course along the way Griffin and Phoenix have strong feelings for one another and things start heating up, but what will happen when Griffin finds out that Phoenix dreams of being a singer and he feels used and betrayed. With Phoenix hurt and Maverick moping since Griffin got rid of Phoenix whom he was growing to love, can Griffin win back Phoenix and Phoenix prove to Griffin that he is her "One" at least for now seeing as she is only in her twenties and still has her life ahead of her. Confessions of a Naughty Nanny was another good book in Bailey's family series and now we have three siblings left - Juno, Kingston, and Sedona.

I loved the attraction that was forged because they were both trying to figure out what they wanted...in a world that seemed to have already decided the path they should be on, and didn't really seem to need their opinions. The scenes with Griffin, once they really started to pursue their attraction to one another were really relateable and felt real. I loved the characters, and who they were, and the way they not only related to one another but seemed to believe in one another. Overall, I did enjoy this title, and I do recommend it...even though there are times that seem to feel like it's more of an ensemble story than a book with 2 main characters. ***This and other reviews can be found on our blog https://www.bookedallnightblog.com/***

Phoenix is officially my new favorite Bailey! We’ve seen her in past books as the spoiled rotten girl who hasn’t found he way. She still has some of those same qualities, but she uses them as a cover. She is actually an insecure girl just trying to fight for her dream. She has grit, determination, and and inner strength that you will come to love in this book. Griffin was such a back and forth character who was indecisive about his intensions which is understandable. There’s the age gap, a kid, and the Baileys in general are intimidating. One thing that stayed constant was his love for his kid and him wanting what was best for Phoenix. This was definitely my favorite Bailey book so far. The journey was amazing. You get to see love, following a dream at all costs, selflessness all around, and a general understanding that you can’t make people do things that they don’t already want to do. It’s always so much fun getting to catch up with this family and see where everyone is at in their lives. So many secrets are revealed in this book about the family and the cliffhanger for the next book will leave you’re jaw hanging open. And now we wait... -An Arc was generously provided in exchange for an honest review.-

Phoenix just wants Griffin to hear her sing but what happens when a little white lie backfires? What happens when you fall for the cliche? I loved this book so much....I laughed as usual with Grandma Dori and her antics, empathetic to Phoenix's vulnerable side, frustrated with Griffin's cynical side..... the storyline was captivating and left me wanting so much more! If you haven't started the Bailey's yet, what are you waiting for?? This is a series I highly recommend!

The Bailey family is back... this time it's about Phoenix, the youngest Bailey sister who everyone overprotects and is trying to achieve her dream of becoming a singer. Enter Griffin, a famous music producer and a single dad who lost his spark and moves to Lake Starlight, Alaska with his young son. Add in a little white lie, secrets, explosive attraction, heartache, humor, sexual tension, witty banter, obstacles, and of course love, and you get one emotional, sexy, funny, and sweet romance. Growth is the word that I took away from this book. From book 1 we have watched Phoenix go from a bratty teenager to someone who has last her way but Griffin might be just the person to give her back her self-confidence. Phoenix and Giffin had their misses but we all know that a good relationship isn't complete without a few bumps. Only three more siblings to go and if the last chapter was anything, Piper Rayne had just upped the matchmaker game.

4.3 stars Love this family something fierce. I liked seeing how grown up Phoenix had become from the first book in this series. I wasn't sure about Griffin being the main character but he worked. While this wasn't my favorite, as I didn't connect as much with the actual story, I still enjoyed the chance to hang out with these amazing characters.

What I liked in this book: - Griffin helping Phoenix achieve her dream. Reading Phoenix's POV I do believe after going home from trying to make it in LA that she started to hold back a bit. But she deserves a chance to pursue her dreams and Griffin helped her out so much even when they weren't on the best terms. - Phoenix and Maverick. Maverick is Griffin's son and I loved how Phoenix got him to warm up to her and other people. - The Baileys family moments. I truly missed this family so much. They just make all the books better and they continue to be quite a big role in every sibling's story. I love seeing interactions of the couples from the past books and getting a glimpse of what's to come for future books. - THE EPILOGUE. The epilogues in this series are always something to look forward to because it sets up the next book. Although Juno and Colton already had some crumbs about them in the previous books, this really sets up the premise for their book. It's so sad, I feel bad for Juno and I can't wait to read their book. Another is the characters who announced their pregnancy. Luckily there will be a novella!! Overall I just didn't connect to Phoenix and Griffin as a couple as much as I did with the previous couples but I still really enjoyed this book!

“with you, i don't want to be cautious.” i hate to say it but out of all this is my least favourite book. i really like phoenix and her free spirited soul, i love how she's the most sarcastic and i also love her for what she's passionate about but sadly her story didn't work out for me. i do enjoy scenes where she hangs with maverick but i barely seen them together when i was hoping more of them and there's a time where griffin makes me uncomfortable. it's pretty hard to connect with her stor “with you, i don't want to be cautious.” i hate to say it but out of all this is my least favourite book. i really like phoenix and her free spirited soul, i love how she's the most sarcastic and i also love her for what she's passionate about but sadly her story didn't work out for me. i do enjoy scenes where she hangs with maverick but i barely seen them together when i was hoping more of them and there's a time where griffin makes me uncomfortable. it's pretty hard to connect with her storylines but i don't hate it. i still enjoy the baileys moments even if it's not as much as the previous books and some of the surprise news about the baileys couple. i get to know jamison's feeling for sedona, kingston for stella, and ofc juno for colton. the ending is such a cliffhanger that makes me want to grab a time machine and fast forward to june 23rd so i can read juno's book because i can't stop screaming because that ending... you're hoping for me to not think about it when that cliffhanger ending is basically the saddest out of all.

I'm sure that I have many times, but I will say it again. I love this series from this amazing writing duo. There are a lot of member of the Bailey family which means that there are more than enough books in this series to keep us wanting more. What I love is that a with each book in this series, I love each Bailey even more. There have been series where after a while I have stopped reading after the third or fourth book, because sometimes there are just too many characters and the series loses they it's spark and I tend to lose interest. But not with this series. Not once have I ever gotten bored or thought that's enough. I have loved every book in this series, and I can't wait for the next one, even if I have to wait until June! This is Phoenix Bailey's love story. She is the family member who everyone always seems to see as the one who messes up. She seems to make the wrong decisions and knows that many times she "shouldn't have" done this or that. She is a singer and her dream is to make it big. When music producer Griffin Thorne moves to her small Alaskan town she is determined to figure out a way for him to hear her sing. She knows he needs a nanny for his son, which is the perfect way to get his attention. But her brother is adamant about her staying away from Griffin. When she accidentally runs into him so how it turns into him hiring her as his nanny, which is perfect. Until she finds out that he has left the business and focusing on his son. So now she has to come up with a new plan, one that does not include falling in love!! Easier said than done. Phoenix and Griffin have this amazing chemistry and intent bond. And she knows how to talk to and understand his 8-year-old son, Maverick. There is nothing more attractive to Griffin that a woman who captures his son's attention and heart. There is a line that these two are both wanting to cross, but with that comes many obstacles. Is what they have real enough to try to make it work? I loved watching these two fall for each other and their love story unfold. There was no denying the chemistry and the attraction. But they seem to both be in two different phases of their lives. Griffin is focusing on raising his son, while she wants to pursue her dreams, but despite all of that there is an undeniable connection between the two of them. Griffin I think in a way makes her feel like she is the disappointment that she may sometime feel like she is. For Griffin, she is so different than his ex and so special in a way that makes him want more. She has so much passion and a big heart. And the bond that she formed with Maverick beautiful to watch. Griffin is a selfless man and I loved him. Some people may think that him leaving LA was about running away, but there was such a bigger reason for his move. And that was his son, and I loved that part of him. There are moments where you want to smack him for his decisions, but then he does something else that has you swooning all over again. Griffin and Phoenix were perfect for each other. Together they may me laugh, swoon and had a way of melting my heart. I loved seeing them open up to each other, showed their vulnerable sides. This was just another example of why I love these two ladies. We still get to see all the Bailey clan and catch up with them. I especially liked the little surprise at the end. We were also left hanging a little bit, and no this is not a cliffhanger. But the end sets us up for the next book which is Juno's and I cannot wait for it!!!!

I love it when a character surprises me. I've been with the Baileys since book 1 and I'll admit that I was not looking forward to Phoenix's story. And I'm pretty sure Piper & Rayne intended to write her that way since we essentially know her from when she's a tween. Even though she was getting older, we couldn't see much of it in her sibling's book. At last, Confessions of a Naughty Nanny as arrived and it surprised the heck out of me! All her siblings are finding partners and getting married. Sure she is the youngest but even her twin Sedona seems to have found love and a direction in life. When her move to LA didn't quite turn out the way she planned, she came home to Starlight and everyone has been trying to help her find what she should do. She still want to sing damn it, she just needs to find her confidence and a new way into the business. When she hears ex music producer Griffin Thorne is moving to town, she thinks she has a plan. Man does she get more than she planned for. Griffin has had enough of the wonderful world of music and LA and all that comes with stardom. Divorced from his cheating ex-wife, he decides that he needs to give his son, more than what LA has to offer. Determined to start anew in the one place that he has always loved. New house, new town and time to spend with Maverick. It sounds perfect. Now to find a nanny to help and he will be set. But in small town Alaska that is not necessarily an easy task. When he stubbles upon the beautiful and willing Phoenix. After spending some time with Griffin and Maverick, she has come to terms with the fact that he is not going to help her out, but she can at least work and save some money to head back to LA for round two. Maverick and Phoenix get along great, and she is slowly bringing him out of his shell. Helping him to become a carefree kid, like he should be. Griffin and Phoenix have their work cut out for them, trying to fight off the attraction and chemistry they feel for each other. This is a line that shouldn't be crossed. Griffin struggles with trusting that people don't always want something from him, as was the way in LA. Will Phoenix find her way back to LA and to a singing career she has dreamed of since she was little and her daddy told her she will hold the spotlight? Or will she find much more with a wonderful young boy and his dad? In true Bailey fashion there was loads of humor in this book, but many other emotions as well. I was quickly sucked into the story and wanting to see if there would be an HEA at the end. Only a few more siblings to get their stories now. *** Advanced copy provided in exchange for an honest review. ***

    Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

Slickreads’s Review I’m going to admit that I didn’t expect to love this book despite my absolute adoration for the Bailey Family, Lake Starlight, Alaska, and the writing duo of Piper Rayne. I knew this was Phoenix’s books and to be honest from book one, she has not been a favorite character. She has come across as self-centered, spoiled, and at times unfeeling, but the authors who are Piper Rayne managed to show us her gooey inside; humble, grateful, a little bit lost, and generous with her fee Slickreads’s Review I’m going to admit that I didn’t expect to love this book despite my absolute adoration for the Bailey Family, Lake Starlight, Alaska, and the writing duo of Piper Rayne. I knew this was Phoenix’s books and to be honest from book one, she has not been a favorite character. She has come across as self-centered, spoiled, and at times unfeeling, but the authors who are Piper Rayne managed to show us her gooey inside; humble, grateful, a little bit lost, and generous with her feelings. I LOVED this book and Phoenix’s journey in life and love. Phoenix is struggling to find her place in life, after an unsuccessful attempt to break into the music business in Los Angeles, she is back home in Lake Starlight and trying to figure out her next move. Finding out her brother’s friend and famed record producer Griffin Thorne is moving to their small town and need a nanny it seems like a no brainer to her to secure the job and be discovered, but Griffin has left the business behind and Phoenix finds that she’s falling for Griffin and his 8 year old son Maverick. So this is a big age gap romance with Griffin being 12 years older than Phoenix and winding down his career while she has yet to start hers. They have insane chemistry, seriously it burns up the pages, but they push it down because Phoenix is determined to keep her job which she finds she enjoys and Griffin doesn’t want to be a cliché. I loved these two together (well three with Maverick) and how easily they meshed their lives. They both seem to read each other well and Phoenix understands Maverick in a way Griffin doesn’t. He knows he’s missed a lot of Maverick’s life and he is dedicated to making sure he is present every day in his son’s life. It was interesting watching Griffin and Maverick get scooped up into the Bailey family when neither one had ever experienced family life. They along with Phoenix all grew a great deal during this story and I know that is just one of the reasons I loved this books so much. While not without some drama and a lot of starts and stops to their inevitable romance, Confessions of a Naughty Nanny captivated me from start to finish and left me wishing it was the summer of 2020 already. I need more Baileys! P.S.- Don’t forget to grab the bonus scene, you don’t want to miss it! Review copy provided for a voluntary review.
