Just keep reading...* 3 Motorcycles, Madness, Money and what the hell Stars “Take me with you,” I whisper as they fly by and disappear around the corner. I imagine what it would feel like to just run away with them, try something new, something different. A story about escaping the narrow confines of your family expectations, dreaming big and daring to act upon your wishes. A story of bravery, passion and money that unfortunately makes the world go around... Amy Cross is the sheltered daughter of a small town preacher. Forced in a life that isn't her own, existing to fulfill her parents desires she reads romances and dreams of escaping her gilded cage. On the back of a motorcycle. After all these years of reading about bad boys and alpha males and delicious men with ridiculous names, it's my turn. Mine. Mine. Sorry, Horse; Sorry, Kellan Kyle; Sorry, Ty McCabe; Sorry, Travis Maddox; Sorry, Gideon Cross. But I'm breaking up with all of you. She breaks up with them and claims the freedom she deserves, because she met the man she never dared to dream about... Austin Sparks. Member of the Triple M MC, Austin thought the little blonde was an easy lay for the night. He didn't count on seeing, tasting, smelling, hearing and touching, for the first time in his life. Nor feeling that she is his. Only his. Forever. “Can you handle me? I have high expectations, you know. All us romance readers do. We're spoiled by words.” Explosive chemistry, raw passion and heated encounters soon follow. I'm going to fall in love with him. I'm going to be head over heels and my stomach is going to hurt every time he walks into a room. I'm going to worry about him whenever he isn't there, and there are going to be times where I'll hate him. Because that's what love is. It's a kaleidoscope of emotions, all sorts of different colors blending together into one. But love is not all that follows... I should say that dealing with feelings and Austin's fuck buddy, Mireya, is the easy part. What no one could imagine is the criminal activities the MC is involved in, how much does Austin knows and who would benefit the most if he was out of the equation... Yeap... that was the part of the book that made the least sense to me but let's take it from the beginning... My inner cover-whore had a field day with this cover.... A beacon, inviting unsuspecting and innocent romance readers to the dark side. :P Promising hotness and magnificence. Raw sexuality and hot males. Tattoos and bad boys and chains and ropes... (holy shit, I pray to all romance junkies Goddesses, that my boyfriend and parents never, ever find out what are my reviews about.... O_o) Sorry for the mini nervous breakdown.... So... definitely the cover is a sight for sore eyes. But the bad thing is that over-promises and under-delivers. This not a bad story. But it isn't great either. I was ready to be blown away in my wildest motorcycle fantasies and daydream about joining a MC. I was ready to suggest to my boyfriend to get matching tattoos and buy leather jackets and re-enact certain scenes, but... but ... but... Overall, I liked Austin and Amy's story. They were owning it and didn't make excuses. They made sense and they didn't question every damn move and word they said to each other. But shit were flying all over the place, the plot was a little too much and it didn't make sense all the times. All the other members of the Club seemed a little caricaturish. Over the top and unlikeable. I didn't like the twist, because I think it clashed with Austin's character and inner-Southern gentleman. Scars and traumas were never addressed just mentioned in passing and Amy's family just accepted that their daughter run away with a biker? C.M. Stunich is for me, a very talented author, that tried to write a very different book from my all time favourite Never Series. This story is naughty and humorous and I really admire her snarky style. I really think she is an author to watch for and I will definitely read the next, for this reason. I'm expecting a lot more of backstory and of course some of my above issues, to be properly addressed. But the biggest factor in this decision, is that a woman who chose this cover deserves my total support! KUDOS! My initial -and somewhat rant-y- reaction to the cover reveal! *HOTTEST COVER EVAH ALERT* *speechless*

The cover was hot and I had such high expectations for this book and I think my expectations totally ruined it for me. Amy Cross, preachers daughter trapped in a small town completely ruled by ignorance, the only highlight of their little town is once a year they host a motorcycle rally which brings the freedom of the road to town. Amy is scared of one thing, to die of boredom and the only excitement she gets to live is through her books ” He said I was like the lake on a summer day, no wind, no rain, no clouds. No fun” Amy sees Austin and manages to catch his eye, to him she is all things innocent and completely different from anything in his world, he’s the Road Captain of the triple M, the one he who sold his soul to keep his brothers livin the life ” Shit, I don't know what it is, but I want to own this girl, feel her beneath me as I slide inside and know that she belongs completely and solely to me.“ Amy wants out, she has a plan, she wants to join Austin’s gang, and as crazy as it sounds it’s actually something that Austin considers, he’s not sure why, he’s doesn’t do relationships but just maybe. Unfortunately something happens that forces the plan to take place sooner than planned and Amy is offered a spot “As of right now, you belong to me. You walk with me, ride with me … ” Amy doesn't look scared, not in the least. In fact, the more I say, the happier she looks. “Bunk with me. Until you get your colors and your own bike, you're mine.” Only it’s not so simple, on top of Austin having to worry about his gang, he is solely responsible for Amy. Shit start to hit the fan, jealousy and danger. I can’t particularly pin point what about the story didn’t work for me, I just know that it didn’t. The small town, her innocence and their biker world. I hate that I didn’t love it, but when I do read the 2nd book, because let’s face it I will, it may be different…

After coming off of a pretty disastrous biker book- I was thrilled this book was able to cleanse my palate and get me “back in the saddle” Amy is a sheltered small town, 21 year old sexually suppressed girl. Amy knows there is more to life and she is so ready to live it. The only enjoyment she gets out of her obedient existence is when she is reading and fantasizing over her secret book boyfriends. That is until the bikers roll into town for the annual Motorcycle show. “They wear leather and have piercings and tattoos. The open road is their home and mine, mine is this three bedroom, two bath prison” Amy still lives at home with her controlling Mother and abusive preacher Dad. She tries to obey and fit the mold they want her to… but the real Amy is ready to break free like the heroines in the books she reads. What Amy did not expect was to meet a “book boyfriend” in real-life. “My eyes are looking directly at a black T-shirt stretched over a wide chest, and I have to tilt my chin up to find the face of the man with the most amazing body ever. Oh. My. God. He looks just like my book boyfriend!” “Come on, beautiful,” he says. “Tell me your name.” “Amy,” I say quietly, too quietly. “Amy Cross.” “Austin,” he says, and that's it. “Now, Amy, I'm not letting you go until you promise to meet me back here tonight for a drink.” I look into this man's dark eyes and feel like I'm falling and burning up at the same time. Two beautiful, beautiful ways to die." So…. Does Amy meet Austin for drinks later that evening? I will let you find out for your self. But know that this story takes you on a journey of self-discovery, relationships, 'Triple M' MC life, betrayal, heartache and love. It is told through dual POV which I loved as I felt I got to know Austin and Amy intimately. The secondary characters: Gaine, Mireya, Kimmi, Kent and Melissa Diamond certainly add the layers of club life to the story as they all have secrets that unfold. But my favorite part of this book is the way the author describes Amy and Austin’s chemistry- something new to both of them and so addictive, raw, pure and erotic. “There are only three kinds of kisses in this world: secret ones that nobody sees, the fake ones that everybody sees, and the real ones that only two people see. This one was one of those and I'll be damned, but it rocked my friggin' world.” As I stated yesterday when this book was released and it still holds true: Everything else on hold... must read this NOW OH YEAH...

Look at this... LOOK AT IT This cover is SMOKING HOT!!!! YUMMY!!! Now to our two main characters:

Super sexy biker, Austin Sparks and Amy Cross, the not so good little church girl Some decisions we make; others are made for us. Amy is 21 years old and still lives with her parents. She is restricted in all aspects of her life. What she can do, who she can talk to, what she can wear. Her father is a pastor in a small southern town and her parents are controlling to the extreme. She is restricted in all aspects of her life. What she can do, who she can talk to, what she can wear. Her father is a pastor in a small southern town and her parents are controlling to the extreme. The only way she can truly ‘get away’ is through her books. Her book boyfriends get her through. Every year, the bikers come through Amy’s town for the festival. While she is in town with family, she finds herself alone for a minute and wonders over to the bikes. Thats when she sees Austin for the first time. Oh. My. God. He looks just like my book boyfriend! Austin is taken by Amy. She looks sweet and innocent, but he knows there is something more there. He asks her for drinks that night, and she says yes. She finds a way to meet up with him and gets a little more than she bargained for. Oh the pool table... Once Amy starts spending time with Austin, she knows she can’t go back to her old life. Her family situation is getting even worse and she has to get away. She wants to go with Austin, join the club. Austin see’s something in Amy. He can’t put his finger on it, but things are different with her. I don’t know what it is, but I want to own this girl. Austin wants Amy to come, but things with his MC club aren’t going smoothly at the time. There is a lot of drama there. We meet a lot of crazy characters. Some you will love, others you will hate. With everything happening, Amy and Austin don’t get a lot of time together, but the time they have... they make count. Holy hotness- Austin Sparks is sexy. The tattoos... my favorite piercing- yup ;) What happens next- for the first time, its not just sex for Austin. He starts to develop other feelings. Amy has the sixth sense for him. “If you can think of your lover in six senses, then I’d say you’re nailed. They’ve got themselves wrapped around your heart. Sight, sound, taste, scent, touch, and other. that thing you can’t figure out that means everything.” Now the ending, as everything started to go down with the MC club, I felt the ending was a little rushed, but I was still happy with how the book ended. I am a huge fan of CM Stunich. I liked this one, I enjoyed it- it was sexy, funny and about bikers... Whats not to like? For me, it wasn’t quite as good as her ‘Never’ series, which I LOVED! Still a nice, fast and easy read! Gotta love the book boyfriend lingo and of course as a proud member of the real ‘Triple M’ book club, it was pretty awesome to read about the ‘characters’! A solid 3.5-4 star read for me! Favorite quotes: After all these years of reading about bad boys and alpha males and delicious men with ridiculous names, it’s my turn. Mine. Mine. Sorry, Horse; Sorry, Kellan Kyle; Sorry, Ty McCabe; Sorry, Travis Maddox; Sorry, Gideon Cross. But I’m breaking up with all of you. I blame the books, but maybe it was really just me. Maybe I’m just as perverted as my favorite fictional characters.

My Amy and Austin: Amy lives in a small boring town with extremely old-school minded parents and dreams about leaving and experiencing somehting different and exciting. With father minister her live resembles a prison so she finds her escape in reading romance books. When opportunity for a real escape arises and she got to the point she simply cannot stay anymore, Amy sets off into the adventure... Austins is rough and sexy biker, wild and possessive, living untamed life. When his gang arrives to small southern town and she meets innocent but eager Amy, he needs to have her. So when she asks to take her with him on the road, he cannot say not even though he knows things are going to get dangerous... Chemistry between Amy and Austin is strong from very beginning of this book. They cannot keep hands of each other which leads into various extremely hot and steamy scenes. But this book definitely doesn't concentrate on sex only. There is action and both of them are dealing with some personal issues through out the story too. I felt strongly connected to Amy. It has been long since I sympathized so much with female heroine and I grew to love her very quickly. She never annoyed me, I understood all of her decisions and I was touched by her story on personal level. And Austin? There is nothing beter than bad tough possessive sexy boy showing his caring and loving side! Losing Me, Finding You is written in dual POV. Both, Amy's and Austins's thoughts were very entertaining in their own way. And I absolutely loved the "voice" and style of writing in this book. I read it in one day, it was impossible to put it down! I cannot wait to check other books by this author. "Austin, I may not remember her name, but I remember the way her eyes fluttered closed when I kissed her, the way her lashes danced like butterflies on her cheeks. I remember the way she smelled, like roses and chamomile, and I remember the sound of he rlaughter like she was right here with me. If you can think of your lover in six sences, then I'd say you're nailes. They've got themselves wrapped around your heart." MORE REVIEWS ON MY BLOG Reading Is My Breathing

She is a cardigan wearing/flowered skirt wearing, never been kissed, virgin, who suffers under the control of her abusive father/minister and mother. In her town there is a motorcycle festival taking place. Amy dreams of the freedom of getting on a motorcycle and leaving her life behind. Who I am to judge? Ever heard college, and the peace corp., how about the military? She is treated like an 8 year old by her parents and in all these years we are lead to believe that she never went for any opportunity to get out. Amy meets Austin in town and agrees to meet him for a drink. Austin is a member of the MMM Motorcycle Club. They don’t own any businesses, no clubhouse, nothing very exciting. They live off of bank robberies. Yeah how often do they happen and are successful? The club was pretty lame to me. They just seemed like a few mismatched lost boys and girls who weren’t very tough, cool or exciting. Things blow up at home and Amy meets Austin for a drink at the local bar. She tells her bff who so happens to live the exact same existence and the girls are hanging with the club. Austin takes her virginity, his woman/friend decides to video tape and share with Amy’s whole church congregation via text message. Here’s the thing….Amy doesn’t have a cell phone! How is this possible to get all of her contacts? So Amy runs away and joins the circus…I mean MMM Club. Austin is crazy about her and Amy is enjoying sex and working all her book learned moves. While the small club runs into trouble and I dragged to finish the story. This story is told in alternating povs which I liked. There is a great cat fight scene and the story does have an hea as the MMM Club drives into the next town.

Sadly, that's not the case with the actual story...it's not a horrible story, it's just with a cover like that, you expect to be blown away. Let's put it this way...if Austin really looked like that and I was indeed a preacher's daughter still living at home under my parent's thumb, I probably would let him take my virginity on a pool table inside a bar! And that is exactly what Amy lets Austin do. Austin's a member of the Triple M motorcycle club in town for the annual antique bike show when he runs into Amy, a preacher's daughter. They are both immediately taken with each other but a little freaked out by it. Of course, Austin doesn't let that rule him and he asks Amy to meet up with him later at the aforementioned bar. The bar where the aforementioned sex takes place and where unfortunately someone films it and then sends it to all the people in Amy's address book. Sadly for the person who sent the video, but the only thing it does is send Amy straight into Austin's open arms and just like that she leaves everything and everyone she has known her whole life! But it's just a story, right? Besides the cover, the other thing I really liked about this story was that Amy is a very passionate reader and she has a whole slew of book boyfriends. But...she is just a slice on the cray-cray side, living her life with "what would this character do?" and "what would this book boyfriend say to me?" "After all these years of reading about bad boys and alpha males and delicious men with ridiculous names, it's my turn. Mine. Mine. Sorry, Horse; Sorry, Kellan Kyle; Sorry, Ty McCabe; Sorry, Travis Maddox; Sorry, Gideon Cross. But I'm breaking up with all of you." At first, I really thought she was TSTL and I couldn't imagine that I would even like this story but then something happened. The story kind of drew me in...just a little and just enough that I don't really hate it. In fact, I liked it...a little. We get to know some of the other members of the club but they are the same run-of-the-mill characters that you find in a lot of similar books. You have the allegedly upstanding but devious Pres, Kent; the beautiful on the outside but sleeps around wife, Melissa; the good friend with benefits who couldn't really be in love with him, could she? Mireya; the best friend who's in love with his friend with benefits, Gaine; and the crazy, sleep with everyone and acts like a dummy but isn't, Beck. A little mundane on their own but mix them up together and things get a little interesting. We get lots and lots of sex...and sex in lots of interesting places. Amy gets quite the education and gets to fulfill all her book fantasies. What we don't get is a lot of talking and getting to know each other but hey, the whole book is only a couple of weeks long. There's some drama and even a good ol' catfight. I do have to admit that I loved when Austin picked up Amy and took her back to the room! Well done, Austin. And we get some good old fashioned betrayal and lots of blood but then, it wouldn't be bona fide MC if there wasn't! I did like getting the alternating POV's. It was nice getting in both their heads while you were trying to figure out what in the heck was going on! And we get an epilogue! The story does wrap up enough that it doesn't leave you hanging but there's also enough left unanswered that it's made me curious about the next book, Losing Me, Trusting You that's suppose to come out in June. Favorite quotes: ♥ “There are only three kinds of kisses in this world: secret ones that nobody sees, the fake ones that everybody sees, and the real ones that only two people see. When I saw that she was planning on releasing this Biker romance novel, I was one giddy schoolgirl. I’m not going to lie, I’m not going to try to deny it: I love Bad Boy Biker romance novels. I eat ‘em up like handful of M&Ms. Then when I saw the cover. HOLY SHIT! It made the anticipation even greater. Preacher’s daughter + Biker Bad Boy = Motherfucking bliss. Girls like me don’t wrap their arms around men in leather, straddle massive hunks of metal that my mom refers to solely as “death traps,” drive to cities we’ve never been. Girls like me put on their yellow camisoles, their white sweaters and their below the knee skirts. Amy Cross wants out. She’s twenty-one, a virgin, and lives at home with her very strict and very religious parents. She feels trapped; destined to be stuck in this boring life. Her only solace is through her books, of course that is until the Bikers come into town for the annual antique bike show. She more curious than ever to explore outside her suffocating bubble. It is when she decides to quickly sneak off into town that she meets Austin Sparks. Oh. My. God. You’re just like my favorite book boyfriend. Now I know why I was so drawn to you. Austin is crazy sexy: Tattoos, motorcycle, leather jacket, scar on his lip…fuck! He just screams Bad Ass. He is instantly struck with curiosity when he approaches Amy. For some unknown reason, he is drawn to her. Is it her innocence? Perhaps. But he knows there’s something more to Amy than what’s on the surface. Underneath her outward innocent appearance, lies somebody wanting to breaking out of her shell, and he might just be the man who can show her. She is fucking pretty, no doubt about it, but it’s not just her round eyes and swollen lips that draw my attention. Shit, I don’t know what it is, but I want to own this girl, feel her beneath me as I slide inside and know that she belongs completely and solely to me. Austin and Amy have a connection. They don’t quite know what it is nor how to deal with it, but they know one thing, they’re not ready to part yet, especially Amy who has had enough of her life. After an altercation with her strict parents, she reluctantly asks Austin to take her away and even asks to join his MC. Her desperation is palpable and Austin feels the need to protect her. But is introducing her to the MC life really a good idea? He doesn’t feel the same about his MC and to try to shield Amy from the ugliness he has to deal with isn’t going to be easy, but by God he’s determined to do it. He wants her and nothing will stop him from completely possessing her. “If you can think of your lover in six senses, then I’d say you’re nailed. They’ve got themselves wrapped around your heart….and your cock.” “Six senses?” “Sight, sound, taste, scent, touch, and other, that thing you can’t figure out that means everything.” Austin doesn’t know what he’s gotten himself into. I love how he gradually comes to realize what she means to him. Well technically their relationship doesn’t really come gradually considering they just met, but that connection they have is undeniable. I really enjoyed this story, and I LOVED Amy and Austin. She is such a sweet and beautiful girl and it broke my heart at how suffocating her life was before she met Austin. She finally has the chance to be free. As for Austin, well, he was just what I wanted as a Hero: Just flat out sexy. They were unbelievably perfect for each other. Their scenes together…Fucking Hot!! Loved it. This author definitely doesn’t disappoint. Other favorite quotes -- Perversion is just another form of art. It’s like painting or drawing or sculpting. Except instead of paint, us perverts use sex as our medium. -- “If you want me to be exclusive,” Austin whispers into my ear, grunting as the thrusts deep. “Then you’re going to have to keep me satisfied, sugar. Think you’re up for it?” “The question is,” I breathe, squeezing as tight as I can around him, so that he’s forced to stop, to give into the power that’s between my legs and wait for me to release him. “Can you handle me? I have high expectations, you know. All us romance readers do. We’re spoiled by words.” -- Finally, I think. After all these years of reading about bad boys and alpha males and delicious men with ridiculous names, it’s my turn. Mine. Mine. Sorry, Horse: Sorry Kellan Kyle: Sorry, Ty McCabe: Sorry, Travis Maddox: Sorry, Gideon Cross. But I’m breaking up with all of you. -- “Let me know what I need to do,” I tell him, suddenly noticing a spot of bright metal gleaming in the tip. He's pierced! Oh dear God. How did I not notice before? “Austin, I … ” “Oh shush, sugar, and just suck it.”

"There's nothing I want more than to dirty talk Miss Amy until even her ass blushes red, but the thought of Mireya or Beck or Gaine coming through those doors and finding us convinces me that I better get this over with quick."--How Romantic, just what I want a guy think while he's with me!! I only got to pg.84 this one sadly, didn't do it for me.

Toward the end, some sheeeiiiizz goes down and I was on edge throughout that part. The ending. I would have liked to see a little more. Christy's outcome, what happens after the whole blow out? And how do Austin and Amy fair? I'm betting we'll see that in the next book? Again, CM Stunich's work is different and that's what draws me into her stories. Looking forward to the next biker book :b

1.5 Stars Oh, boy I am so upset I was wanting so much more from this book. I wanted it to be great especially after the stunning cover but once I started reading it I just couldn't feel it. I tried. I read the whole book hoping I would love it like so many others. Ok the story felt like a combo of A Walk to Remember meets the MC world. Ok the story felt like a combo of A Walk to Remember meets the MC world. Amy was a goodie goodie christian who in warp speed turns into a non-virgin MC member. When she meets Austin both of their worlds change. First Austin is a free bird with a regular screw buddy on the same MC. A bit awkward. Then Bam meets the good girl and it was game over. I am all over love at first sight but this I can't even put my finger on what truly bugged me about this connection. Right after Amy's wham bam thank you mam everyone knows what she has done and turns on her quickly that obviously her only choice was to join a MC. Duh! For the record if I was a virgin that is so not how I would like to pop my cherry but hey he was a supposed bad ass biker man so I guess that is what to expect. I just couldn't connect with Amy at all and her naivety and daftness made me want to roar. Yeah! good idea Amy after you find out he just slept with someone else offer to go bareback. Good idea! NOT! I just couldn't wrap my head around the whole story. It dialogue felt forced, the connection felt forced. I think after Undeniable, Motorcycle Man, Own the Wind, Reaper's property we are left with high expectations and this felt like it was trying to reach to this level without pulling it off. I just couldn't feel them as a couple and felt the story was a bit over the top. It KILLS me to give a bad review but it was just not for me sorry. I'm just one opinion but I know others have loved this book so to each its own, that is the power of free will. I know it's hard to believe I'm giving this book 2 stars when you read my review, but hey, at least it wasn't boring so it did provide me some entertainment:) You ever finish a book and then go to rate it and write your review but have no friggin clue what you want to do? That was this book for me. Parts of this story had me rolling my eyes and wanting to bang my head on the table. Other parts were pretty entertaining—although, not in the way I think the author intended. First, I have to say this I know it's hard to believe I'm giving this book 2 stars when you read my review, but hey, at least it wasn't boring so it did provide me some entertainment:) You ever finish a book and then go to rate it and write your review but have no friggin clue what you want to do? That was this book for me. Parts of this story had me rolling my eyes and wanting to bang my head on the table. Other parts were pretty entertaining—although, not in the way I think the author intended. First, I have to say this is a great cover. However, the book definitely didn’t measure up to the cover for me. I’ve complained plenty of times to my friends about how clichéd I find the innocent virgin heroine meets bad boy man-whore storyline. It’s been overdone in my opinion. Well, Losing Me, Finding You is exactly that. Amy is a really sheltered ministers daughter who doesn’t curse and lets her parents control her every move. That wouldn’t have been half as annoying if she wasn’t twenty one years old. She meets Austin (the bad boy in a biker gang) one afternoon and agrees to meet him for drinks. She then proceeds to lose her virginity in a dirty bar on a pool table with people in the next room. I was so put off by how quick they had sex (less than 20 words spoken to each other) but also how completely out of character this seemed for Amy. My god, she loses her virginity in a crowded bar with an audience. Don’t even get me started on the fact that someone records it and sends it to her whole church. And, my biggest eye roll ever is the fact that she had an orgasm during the experience. That really bugged me. Also, what does Amy do? Doesn’t she have any goals, a job? She 21 friggin years old and has no money and no job. What does she intend to do with her life? Oh, I know, run off with a motorcycle gang who has no problem with her tagging along and supporting her lazy ass. You don’t have any money? No problem sweetheart, we’ll support you. How you ask? By robbing banks. Yes, our hero is a bank robber and the heroine thinks that is hot. Overall, I can’t believe how ridiculous some of this book was, and I can’t believe it’s sold as a romance. I didn’t feel the love. They definitely have lust, but what makes it a romance? They’ll be lucky if they live to see their thirties and if they do, they’ll probably spend a good chunk of their lives behind bars and Amy will have to share Austin with his cell mate boyfriend. I can probably think of another twenty things that irritated me, but I think I’ve said enough.

I hate when a story doesn't live up to it's potential. The book was way to short to deal effectively with all the plot the author jammed into the story. Not enough time was spent building the romance between the 2 main characters for me to really "feel" their connection. The had some hot sex but other than their physical connection, what else did they have? I just didn't feel it with what little the author gave us. The pacing was just... off. Everything jumped off so fast and so unbelievably and then we had a stall out.... then they kicked up again but the plot became a convoluted mess. What was supposed to add suspense just added frustration because the author didn't give enough actual plot details to understand the WHY of the danger. I was confused and annoyed. And then it was just over. It does NOT end in a cliffhanger but it did end leaving me unfulfilled. Nothing was resolved. The external strife was never explained, unlikeable characters weren't given a chance to get their comeuppance or redemption and the most frustrating of all... we got nothing about Amy & Austin. We spent all this time in Amy's head, following along on her desperate jailbreak from her strange religious family and then we get nothing?? She just becomes Austin's and that is all we need to know about her growth and development as a person? Ugh.

Travis asks, the prez says "yeah, what the hell ever" and so begins the life Amy, the Amish type biker chick. Drugs, some sex, jealous girlfriend/whatever, insane MC "brothers" and illegal activities abound. Bad thing happens, Austin saves Amy and they are off to "wherever the wind may take them." The end.

WILL NOT LET COVER RULE MY ONE CLICK HAPPY FINGER!!!!!!! That was all this book had going for it. *sigh* I liked the first chapter but then things just fell apart. Amy likes to read romance novels, fine who doesn't but she quotes them A LOT in her head which was fine the first couple of times, but during her love making okay it was just too much!! Amy I liked okay as a character she is supper naive and her vision of the MC bike world is none existing. She lives in a super sheltered world, but she thinks she wants the MC life that she nows zero about, other than your stereo-typical thoughts. It just didn't work for me she is to straight laced to make that huge of a jump. I think my problem with it all was her character for me just did not come close to reality of the world around her in some cases. Austin is a hottie and a jerk and not in the bad boy alpha male way. He is alpha male just a lameo one in my opinion, he isn't at all decisive really. I want her I don't want her, why am I so drawn to her. It was week compared to other MC leads like Duece and Horse. Extremely week in comparison *shutters* no comparison to those Bad Boys hehehe. There was some repetitive of phrasing that after so many times finally started to get on my nerves. In all fairness I only was able to get 21% so............maybe it gets better.......

I LOVE the cover. By itself I would have given 10 stars! I really wanted to love this book. And at a few points I did. But overall, I had too many negative issues and the combined effect made it fall flat for me. I will say that on a small level I actually did relate to Amy. I had an extremely overprotective parent whom I constantly felt the need to escape from before losing my sanity and I also tend to use reading as an outlet for all the bad crap. So for that alone, I did feel for her. BUT onc I LOVE the cover. By itself I would have given 10 stars! I really wanted to love this book. And at a few points I did. So for that alone, I did feel for her. BUT once she got away from that situation I felt like whatever sense she had, and lets be honest- there wasn't much to begin with, just flew out the damn window! Case in point, she was totally OK having sex with Austin knowing he's A) been with numerous women, B) at some point in his life had unprotected sex, and C) (the biggest of all) has never been tested! He even admits that to her and she says 'OK LET'S DO IT ANYWAY!' *facepalm* This is how I felt about Amy for 97% of the book: Aside from being blonde (no offense to anyone, I just prefer my hotties brunette) I thought Austin sounded HOT! I absolutely loved him for 98% of this book. He was probably the only constant thing I liked about it. That, and the cover. The best way for me to describe my feelings is this: This book started out as a 2 star read. It then upgraded to maybe 4 stars. Then a definite 5 star read. But all of a sudden it plummeted to a 3 maybe 4, well no 2 maybe 3 star. That ending just pissed me off. It had a HFN type ending. It just left you with a line to the effect of "We'll go wherever the wind takes us" But it left several issues open without any sort of closure. I hate that!! The ending.... Wait, yes I do:

The cover, totally hot, I mean who could resist that? The actual story seemed somewhat lacking. It wasn't until the actual end of the book that I felt any sort of connection between the characters except for the sexual one. There was lots of sex in this book, but for me, it was really fast and not sexy at all. The story as a whole , characters and all, felt like it needed a bit more depth, background and just general fleshing out. With a bit more information this book could have been fantastic. We had tidbits of information of characters back stories, Austin's brother for example, but not enough for me to be emotionally involved, which I like to be when reading a book. My disappointment may have something to do with the fact that I have come to expect a lot from my steamy hot biker books, but I don't think so. This one had all the potential, but just didn't quite get there in my mind. I was a good, but not great.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. So this is my first C.M. Stunich novel and umm wow! A lot of story in a really quick read! I read this in just under 3 hours. But in all fairness I really couldn't put it down for long. It kept me guessing as to what was coming next. I wouldn't say I was lost in the story, as much as I was trying to figure out everyone's back story. Amy Cross is really really sheltered in the beginning of this book. I wouldn't say I was lost in the story, as much as I was trying to figure out everyone's back story. Amy Cross is really really sheltered in the beginning of this book. She isn't allowed a lot of freedoms and certainly not allowed to have a life that isn't controlled by her family. Her father being a preacher (and we all know how open minded those people are) and her mother, the dutiful wife, are really stereotypically difficult on her. So when she meets Austin I am instantly hoping she runs away with him. But what I didn't expect was how that was sorta forced on her. Austin is the complete opposite of Amy in every way. He is a good guy with a bad boy streak. He sleeps with the bad girl in the MC and he robs banks. His back story really broke my heart, but it was super glossed over. The sex between Amy & Austin is out of this world. But really what would you expect from a hot biker and a southern belle? Austin is a ton of fun to get in the head of. A lot more I wish I knew about him. Which leads me to my one criticism... The one criticism I really have with this book is how quickly things are glossed over. I mean we get a glossy version of Austin's story, a glossy version of Mireya's story (who I wanted to hate but redeemed herself at the last minute), we know nothing about Kimmi, Beck or Gaines stories. I sorta feel like I came in the middle of a story that was already being told. That bugs me. A lot. I will read a few more of her novels and see where I stand when all is said and done. But all in all, I like this book. And the cover of this book...DAMN! Super hot! I would give it a 3.5-4 lipsticks! ~B~

And join my blog too dude! I waited anxiously for this book! I counted down the days and mentally crossed out each day in my mind calendar. The build up was so intense on Saturday the 20th I almost had a damn panic attack, lol. Now for my review, I really did like this book, really I did. I liked getting the POV of both Amy and Austin, the books that give that to the reader are hands down always the best, in my opinion. However, when I finished the book I had to sit and think for a while. I was conflicted and couldn't explain or work out in my head why. Much less put it into words. At the beginning me and Amy were not meshing, at all. That is probably my fault because went into this book with out any idea about it other than there was a MC, and a hot as hell tatt'd up alpha male, Wham, I was sold, no need to tell me anything else. So I just dove into it thinking the female lead would be a badass like Never was in CM Stunich's Never series. Yeah, no, she is not, not at all. Amy is a 21 yo woman still living with her parents and still VERY MUCH under their thumb. He father is a controlling, pompous hypocrite as well an abusive father. And to top that off he's the towns minister. Amy has always yielded to his wishes, and with her condescending mother in the back ground she really has no one in her corner. After years of being threatened to toe the line drawn by her parents and the towns small minded bible thumpers, she reaches a (very small) breaking point and gets a (even smaller) rebellious streak. Instead of avoiding the motorcycle men that rally in her town once a year, she walks her little cardigan wearing, below the knee skirt self right into the middle of the MC crowd. Each and every one of these people look at her like she is an alien. While she is admiring a pretty motorcycle Austin walks up behind her, and her life changes in that moment, forever. She just doesn't know it yet. Austin can not believe this little sweet thing is leaning over checking out a bike. Where in the hell, errr heaven? Did this little innocent little southern girl come from? All he knows is two things, one: he wants to own her. Two: he'd bet a million bucks shes a virgin. And he really likes that about little Miss Amy. He asked her out for drinks, but he has a feeling she is going to be a hard one to catch, she's not the one night kind of girl, she's the marring kind. And he is NOT. Amy and Austin come together and light up the hot charts like the damn 4th of July. And it is sooo good, and sooo down right dirty! The smut whore in me was purring like a kitten! I loved it! But see there is this other bitch, Mireya, and this is where I think my conflicts begin, I don't like her whole character, she is a tough cookie, she has a shitty past, but I don't like that Austin has had no problems leading her on for the last decade, it was ding in his character for me. More of my conflicts lie in the Pres of the MC, any SONS fan knows, you can't have a weasel running a MC, at least with out hell to pay, and usually quick, mean Dante's levels of hell. However, the MC members just continued to lamb along, even with all of these HUGE red flags and alarm bells that all the members try to skirt around. I guess I wanted Austin to not be forced to take control, I wanted him to just do it, like all of our other MC book lovers. I hate this review sounds negative, I really do. Because I did like the book, I liked it A LoT! It was fun as hell to read, and it is a fantastic launching pad for a kickass series that I'm excited about. I loved the chemistry between Amy and Austin, I loved their story and most of all I loved the end of this book. Losing Me, Finding you is exactly that, Amy looses herself, but in loosing herself, she finds her true self and she finds Austin, along with a love so awesome that it was worth being lost for, to find. Losing Me, Finding You is a must read! And I give it 4 chrome and tattooed Kimmi Stars ****
