Harmony Lawson has brought a unique twist to the old tale of good vs. evil and gave it a modern day story. I was intrigued by Apocalypse of Angels straight from the start, couldn't put it down once I started reading. This story has so much potential the only thing that bothered me was the editing. However, the outcome of the story was amazing. I highly recommend this for those that love to read stories of angels and the fallen. Camilla can see angels, its a gift she has and has kept to herself for as long as she can remember. She has always felt that this gift was unique and special. That was until one of the fallens or demons try to harm her. Only they can't take her against her will, she has to join them on her own terms, but with the threat of her family and friends Camille is stuck and is not sure what to do. With her new found friends she has the courage to go up against those that seek to harm her.

It would be great to see angels every day but this book is the closest I'm going to get. Joke aside, I loved Camile's story, her journey and her last name made me think. Harper, close to "harp", the instrument played by some angels. Well done, this was the main reason I chose to read the book and I wasn't disappointed. Great read.

This book is precisely what I expect to read in a YA paranormal fantasy book. Did like the fight between the angel and the demon at the beginning of the book. There are some light romance elements in it, nothing too heavy though. Will say the author did a good job with sounding very much like a 16 year old girl.

This is actually my first angel book. For a YA book it almost bordered on adult. The story held me Harmony let the mystery behind the story last long enough to almost drive me crazy. I had to finish I needed to know what where the characters were going. Of course I can't wait for book 2 because she left me hanging with too many questions.

The story kept you wondering til the very end. This is the first book I've read by this author but I'd love to try another.

I really enjoyed reading "Apocalypse of Angels: Seeing Angels" by Harmony Lawson. This story is about Camille Harper, about to finish high school, can see angels all around her. Why does she see angels? Camille witnesses a confrontation between a beautiful angel and a dark winged creature. This strange event signals the end of a normal life. Earl, a hip new guy at school, wants to date her but she feels something is not right about him. Her mother stays at home, drinks a lot and smokes but still I really enjoyed reading "Apocalypse of Angels: Seeing Angels" by Harmony Lawson. I love the way Harmony Lawson incorporated good versus evil. Everyone has a choice and can express themselves through free will. Not everyone chooses to believe in God and live a life reflected through him. Some people choose to do bad things while others try to do the right things in life. I look forward to reading more books written by Harmony Lawson. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Apocalypse of Angels by Harmony Lawson is a contemporary paranormal romance. It follows Cami, a typical high school senior who just happens to see angels. Cami has seen angels all her life but it isn't until now that she's starting to see fallen dark angels and strange things are starting to happen to her. The plot was interesting and the story has a lot of potential. The plot was interesting and the story has a lot of potential. However, the writing style didn't really work for me - I think if the story had been written in 1st person past tense instead of 1st person present tense it might have worked better. I was also a little disappointed with the editing. There were a lot of grammatical and spelling errors. The characters that Ms. Lawson created were interesting and had some depth. I didn't really like Cami in the beginning of the story but as her character was developed and she started to mature, I found myself liking her and caring about what happened to her and her family. The romance between Cami and Jason was so sweet and perfect - except for the little angels can't mate with humans twist. I'm interested to see how Ms. Lawson deals with that issue in future books. And Jason is one sexy angel - sweet, romantic, sexy, protective, and he has gorgeous wings and can fly you around, what more could a girl want. Overall, there were some things I liked about this book and some things that I didn't...but it was a decent read and the series has a lot of potential with such an interesting plot. If you enjoy YA paranormal romance and angels, then you will probably enjoy this book.

Oh they don't look like the pictures in the books, very rarely can she glimpse their wings, usually it is only by the glow of their eyes that she knows they are angles, but she has just always known they were. It's just a secret she keeps to herself. Cami lives with younger sister Beth, and her parents in a small trailer in Winston, Oregon. She is a wonderful artist, but dreams of going to college to study art are not going to happen for her, there isn't that kind of money laying around. Lately Cami has been noticing more angels. The new guy in town Earl, is asking Cami out, and she normally doesn't go out. Then she's having freaky dreams. Finally at the Spring Fair, she sees some paintings that she loves, and when the guy working the booth talks to her, she almost melts at the sound of his voice, only to turn around and notice that he is an angel! She has never talked to one before. What is going on here? In Apocalypse of Angels Harmony Lawson has created a normal all-american teen-ager in a lower working class family and given her a special ability. Apocalypse of Angels builds from this simple story of Cami, a normal teenager who just happens to see angels, to a teenager that evil demons, or fallen angels want for some reason. As the book goes along Harmony Lawson does a wonderful job of giving Cami a basic knowledge of angels and faith, but without the taint of organized religion, and as she learns more everything is greet with an air of faith with question, giving it a more believable feel. The story revolves around teenagers at the end of high school so you could call it a coming of age story, but I feel the tone and style of writing lends itself to being read by a wide variety of readers. As an adult reader I enjoyed and as I mentioned parts to my own pre-teens, they wanted to read it. That is what I like, and to me that says this is a good book!

Apocalypse of Angels is a fast-paced, exhilarating story of spiritual intrigue and forbidden love. It will keep you on your toes as you try to guess what is coming next. It pulled me into its world of angels and demons and took me on a wonderfully exciting thrill ride that I shall not soon forget. What touched me the most was the sense that this story was written by one who has an open mind and a very big heart. The love expressed between the characters and the willingness to do what needed to be done to help others really made me stop and appreciate the author who poured her heart into this beautifully written and carefully constructed tale of unexpected love, unforeseen destiny, and overwhelming heart. The characters made this story come alive. They spoke to my heart and made me care for them. I delved into their world and they in turn made a home in my heart. I was heartbroken by their various struggles and rejoiced in their triumphs. I was captivated as some of them evolved before my eyes as the plot took over and breath-taking transformations took place. I loved getting to know them, and I hope that I get to discover even more about them in the next book(s). I was sad to see this lovely tale come to an end, but I am very excited to learn how this fun and mesmerizing story will develop in its sequel. Harmony Lawson is a wonderfully talented author who transported me into her fascinating world of the supernatural and made me fall in love with her amazingly unforgettable characters. She is an author that I will be keeping an eye on as I am very impressed with her work, and I hope to see more to come in her future.

This book started off very slow to me. It seemed as if I could not get into it and it was a few weeks before I got past the first 40 pages. But once I gave it a chance, it picked up tremendously. Camille has a unique talent that she keeps hidden, the ability to see Angels. But when life is going to hell and she meets an Angel artist that she starts to like things get even more complicated. Can she stop the demons from hurting her friends and family and why exactly have the Angels been sent to protect her? A fab start to the series and a lovely take on angels and demons. Looking forward to reading the next instalment.

This was a wonderful book that grabs you from page one, I loved Jason he was a super sexy angel and I didn't like Earl from the first minute he was introduced. All in all this was a wonderful read that is worth being picked up. The only thing that has me giving it a 4 instead of 5 star review is the editing on the book.

One of the best modern writers for our times. Makes the religious aspect of reality confirmed in fantasy....or truth. Really enjoyed! A passionate writer that brings romance to a level of possible questioning: Is this a true story????? ;)
